James Schneider

James Schneider is a dedicated lawyer with a strong foundation in both academic excellence and practical experience. Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, James developed a connection to this community from an early age. He attended Grand River Collegiate Institute before pursuing higher education at the University of Waterloo, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, With Distinction).

James furthered his legal education by earning his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University. During his time at Queen’s, he  participated in the Queen’s Labour and Employment Law Club, honing his interest and expertise in this specialized area of law.

Before joining Reist Krauss Bauer LLP, James completed his articles at a local full-service firm. This invaluable experience exposed him to a broad spectrum of legal fields, allowing him to develop a well-rounded skill set. However, it was his passion for employment law that ultimately guided his professional path.

As a member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Waterloo Region Law Association, James remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of legal practice. His deep roots in Kitchener and dedication to serving his community make him a valuable asset to Reist Krauss Bauer LLP and its clients.
